hahaha, that woman signed up for California Fitness
and the evil marketing strategy dragged tiffane and i (plus pea and kai) into that crazy place today.
all of us were shocked to see most of the 40 over treadmills occupied when we stepped in.
i had no idea that the membership fee is soooooo freaking expensive!!

processing fee: $98
membership fee: $300 (wtf)
12 months fee: $1,176 (monthly $98)
TOTAL: $1,574

the funny thing is that we can bargain the prices
the fitness consultant even asked us to quote a reasonable price
and here's the despo deal he gave us

processing fee: $98
membership fee: $0
1 month fee: $70-80
TOTAL: $1,058

the marketing strategy damn good i must say (taking away the membership fee creating the 'super cheap deal' effect).

anyway, it is expensive for several reasons la.
1. it's a 5-star gym (consistently mentioned by the fitness consultant)
2. there are classes such as aerobics, yoga, pilates, boxercise blah blah blah.
3. steam bath and sauna in the toilet
OH YA, it was a shocking experience in the toilet.
the ladies just happily changed in the locker room and i felt really out of place!
and there was this plump woman lying flat in the sauna with JUST A SILVER PANTY ON! NO BRA NO NOTHING!
omg what is the world coming to?!

anyway, i'm not interested in any of the facilities that they offer so the more i shouldn't join.
i can do a lot more with $1000
like.... eating all the stuffs written in my secret wish list HAHAHAHA

but i must say the sight of the working class going to gym after a hard day of work made me more motivated to do something for myself.
I SHALL HIT THE GYM TMR!
hopefully i go 3 times a week for at least 6 months.
